Aah, yeah man, those 70-200mm are crazy! Cant wait to get mine! As far as the focusing goes with ur 50mm, I normally AF where the rider will be & lock on manual & just shoot away until I move & then do the same thing again. That is lucky it's so much cheaper for you. Haha, yeah for 1 month should be fine... it is addictive tho, but if it makes you happy, well, why not!
Yeah, I hope so, sure the sharpness will improve quite a bit & being able to shoot at f2.8 whenever I want should be good!

Yeah, I'm after the 24-70mm f2.8 & the 70-200mm f 2.8 will make my life so much easier... not long now... almost have the cash for both. Fisheye is super sick tho & the quality on mine is crazy, just found I liked it so much I used it a bit too often, so am trying to stay away from it as much as possible at the mo, but sometimes it's just gotta come out!
Yeah, tell me about the price on that shit... makes me wanna cry that each lens is gonna cost as much as my car! :/ worth it tho... never looked back at any piece of equipment & thought the money spent was a bad choice & sure these will be well worth it!

Yeah, was hand held. Am actually busy writing an article on just this.
The problem with a longer exposure & lower ISO I would get motion blur on the rider & my flashes effect would be less with the lower ISO (ambient light was still to strong to get away with slower exposures with the gear I have at the mo), so would be a bit too blurry to pass. If my flashes were stronger then I could do that without a problem & use the slower speed & rear curtain to get a nice motion blur & freeze him properly. My other option is on it's way soon & that's a constant f2.8 zoom. I can then have a wider aperture which will make the flash effect stronger & let more ambient light in, so that would prob be the best bet. The few stops I'd gain with the wider aperture would let me drop my ISO enough to get rid of the worst grain.
Sweet, u'll have fun with them! Can get a bit confusing at times, but it's so cool to use off cam flashes.

Agreed, I wasn't upset by anymeans. It's just the fact that there are younger kids posting unless comments in the "BMX parts reviews" who have no idea what they are talking about makes me angry when trying to educate others on things they have no idea about. The MTB vs. BMX is an ongoing thing on here, same with the brakes vs. brakless and helmet vs no helmet. I disagree about the disks though, I just think that concept is something that should never touch BMX. My views vs your views I guess. Although you have been around the block more times than I have considering the age difference.
